Description from Goodreads:
Lady Kestrel's engagement to Valoria's crown prince calls for great celebration: balls and performances, fireworks and revelry. But to Kestrel it means a cage of her own making. Embedded in the imperial court as a spy, she lives and breathes deceit and cannot confide in the one person she really longs to trust ...
While Arin fights to keep his country's freedom from the hands of his enemy, he suspects that Kestrel knows more than she shows. As Kestrel comes closer to uncovering a shocking secret, it might not be a dagger in the dark that cuts him open, but the truth.
Lies will come undone, and Kestrel and Arin learn just how much their crimes will cost them in this second book in the breathtaking Winner'strilogy.

I loooooved the Winner's Curse - Kestrel, Arin, the setting, the plot, the final twist!! It has been a long year waiting on the Winner's Crime, but I'm 99% sure that the wait hasn't been for nothing. Just a bit under two weeks left for the publication!
I'm waiting on the same one! Also, it's even less than that. It's less than one week :) Even better!

I really recommend the The Winner's Curse, it was amazing. :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI haven't read the first one, but I've been noticing this one. Enjoy! And here's mine: “IT’S YOU”
ReplyDeleteIf the first book peaks your interest even in the slightest, I really recommend you to pick it up. It's a great romance/fantasy YA novel. :)
DeleteI read the first one in this series when it first came out! I liked it, but I didn't love it. I think it had to something to do with the ending. When I realized that it was part of a series, I was pretty excited! I think I like the first book more now knowing that it is a series!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my WOW!
Haha, that's funny because I really loved the ending - it was so tragic! And now I just can't wait to find out what's going to happen next. :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI'm nominating you for the Versatile Blogger Award! Details here:

It probably has to do with the fact that the publication date is pretty close. :) And of course because it most likely will be a total kickass book! ;) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteOh my god I picked this one too! Of course I'll be biased and say that this was a great pick!

DeleteI am currently reading The Winner's Curse and its a little slow but I am going to power through it because so many people have enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my WoW here! :)
Yeah the beginning is a bit slow because of the world building, but the pace will quicken up, and lots of surprising stuff will happen! :) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Thanks for stopping by!
