Stacking the Shelves (#11)

It's Saturday and so it's time for Stacking the Shelves!
Here is my haul from this week:

❄ E-books

Looking for Alaska by John Green
Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer

❄ Paperbacks

Origin (Lux, #4) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I'm almost embarrassed that I haven't read Cinder and Looking for Alaska, and I've been meaning to read Origin for ages because the situation where the whole story was left off was so shocking! But yay, finally I have these goodies!

  1. Nice stack, Sofia. I haven't read either of these books, but all of them are on my TBR. I hope you'll enjoy them!

    Have a great weekend.

  2. Wrong title for this post?! :P Haha, I just read Cinder a few days ago, so I was really late as well. But I'm glad I finally picked it up, because it was really good. Happy reading! :)

    1. Haha, yes! :D Thanks for letting me know, I'm such an air head sometimes (this wasn't the first time I wrote a wrong title..). I'm glad you liked Cinder - I hope I'll love it as well. :)

    1. I've read only TFIOS and Paper Towns by John Green so I'm really looking forward to reading other books by him. :) I just started Cinder and I already love it (if that's possible). Thanks for stopping by. :)

  5. It took me awhile to read Cinder and Scarlet too. I read them before Cress came out and then never read Cress, Haha I guess I'm going to read it before the 4th book comes out.

I only read the first Lux book. Then I stopped for some unknown reason. Should I continue?

    1. Haha, that happens to me as well with series - first I binge read the first few and then leave the series alone for some time. :)

I think you should continue with Lux if you liked the first book. The concept definitely stays the same but there's more romance and action. I'm glad that I continued with it. :)

      Thanks for stopping by!

  8. I really want to read both Looking For Alaska and Cinder - I really didn't like Looking For Alaska when I first read it and I couldn't get into Cinder but I think my opinion may change if I read them again.

    1. Oh, that's a shame. But sometimes that just happens - I always so weird when I haven't liked a book that the majority have seemed to love. Sometimes you can't end up loving every book you read. :) Thanks for stopping by!

    1. I'm currently reading Cinder and it seems so freaking awesome!! I have a strong feeling I'm reading a book that might become one of my favourites.. Lux by JLA is one my favourite series even though the other ones she has written aren't my absolute favourites. :)

      Thanks for stopping by!

  10. Ooh, awesome haul! Cinder has been on my TBr for the longest times, but I still haven't picked it up yet. Origin is also on my TBR, but I find it hard to go back to the series because I've waited for it for so long!

    1. Oh, please pick Cinder up! So far (only a few chapters...) it has been so great and there's so much potential. :) I have the same thing with series - I really liked the first three books but it has been ages since I read the third one so it's a bit of job to start reading the fourth. Even though I'm sure that after I've finished Origin, I'm all "why didn't I pick this up earlier??"

      Thanks for stopping by! :)

  11. Great haul! I started the Lux series a little while ago and have only just ordered books 3 & 4, hoping to get them and start reading them soon. Cinder has been on my TBR list for so long now, I should really start that series soon. I hope you enjoy your books :) My STS.

  14. Looking for Alaska was brilliant, I'd say it was probably his quirkier book out of all his releases. Alaska is one of those characters that's one out of the box. Can't wait to see what you think of it.

I'm probably one of only a handful of people who didn't like Cinder. I honestly just couldn't get into it. Most people seem to really love it, so I'll definitely give it another go eventually. Great haul <3

    1. Good thing then that I wanted to have it. ;) I can't wait to read it now! That sometimes happens to me too as well: I don't end up liking a book that majority has seemed to love. But of course you can't like everything, so it's all good. :)
