Stacking the Shelves (#3)

It's Saturday and so it's time for Stacking the Shelves!
Here's what I managed to get my hands on:

Paperbacks:

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
Unearthly (Unearthly, #1) by Cynthia Hand

From NetGalley:

Viral Nation by (Viral Nation, #1) Shaunta Grimes
The Republic of Thieves (Gentleman Bastards, #3) by Scott Lynch

That's my haul this week! Have you read any of these, and if you have, any thoughts (hypes, rants)?

  2. I've read Unearthly. I loved it. Tucker is one of my favorite book boyfriends. He's such a cutie.

I want to buy A Monster Calls but I always get something else instead.

Thank you for stopping by my blog, Sofia. :)

    1. I've been hearing so many good things about Unearthly so I'd just like to start reading it already (but I have so many to be read before it..)! Maybe one day you'll decide to take A Monster Calls instead of something else. :)

      Thanks for stopping by. :)

  3. I'm not really familiar with these books but they look awesome! :) You should try reading the rest of the books of Matched! :)) It might be a little draggy at some point for me, but there's just this thing that makes me want to keep reading. :)) Thanks for stopping by my blog! Happy reading! :D

    1. Oh great, now I'm dying to read Matched again and then the others right after :D I really liked the world and the relationship dynamics in Matched, so I have pretty high expectations for Crossed, but we'll see. Now I just need to buy it from somewhere. :)

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. I've read Unearthly and I really enjoyed it! I didn't include it in this week's STS, but I got A Monster Calls and I'm SUPER excited for it because I loved The Knife of Never Letting Go so much! :)

    1. Gah, why do I have so many books to read before Unearthly? :D I really liked The Knife of Never Letting go, particularly because of the language, so I'm just thrilled to have A Monster Calls! It just have to be amazing, there's no other way. :)

      Thanks for commenting!

    1. The first book The Lies of Locke Lamora was so amazing, but the second book Red Seas Under Red Skies not so much. That's why I'm really interested in reading the third book just to see what's it going be. The description sounded pretty intense, but we'll see how it turns out to be!
